ODYS Talky BT 100 MP3 Player belongs to the 2 in 1 type that includes the Bluetooth operations along with the MP3 player. This being the new and latest addition to the portfolio of products introduced by the brand ‘ODYS’ ensnare many eyes and makes many heads turn to it. Great companion for travel and almost one can forget of any other accessories that help in entertainment. It consists of a clip that firmly stays on any fabric. Its dimension and weight goes as 57 x 23 x 20 mm and 32 grams respectively that is very compact that never been seen as a burden.

Design and Controls: ODYS Talky BT 100 2GB MP3 Media Player with Bluetooth Functions has a modish look with black and silver colour finish. The buttons for the same has been located stylish that multiplies its rich appearance. Found to have the soft touch buttons on the edges for vol+, Vol- and on the right edge it is previous and next selection buttons. At the lower end, a special oval shaped button for play or pause and on or off functions. The USB port is been located at the bottom. The Bluetooth control button is present in the earphone that allows easy inline control.

Battery Type / Memory: This ODYS MP3 Player model is been powered with the 180mAh Lithium ion polymer rechargeable battery. It gives a quick charging within 2 hours and it lasts for about 10 hours in case of music playback, 80 hours for standby mode and 4 hours of talk time. The built-in memory of this model is 2048 MB. Further this model is capable of ‘Plug and Play USB Flash Disk Function’ that automatically plays form the USB flash memory.

Interface / Connectivity: It supports USB 2.0 the high-speed interface to assist the transfer of file with remarkable speed. Found to have an earphone hack of 3.5mm.

Indicator and Working Mode:

While this model is working on the Bluetooth mode, the LED indicator defines the actions as said below

The Blue LED blinks once every 2 secs when the Bluetooth is in standby or connected. The Blue LED lights up while it is starting. During the shutting process, the Red LED lights up until it completely shuts down. While in case of the incoming call, the Blue Led blinks once every 500ms. The battery low is been indicated by the blink of the Red LED every 2 secs.

In case of the MP3 player mode the LED indicator performs by blink of the Blue LED every 5 seconds and for the starting up and shutting down it is rather same as above.

Supported File Formats / Software: This model supports the file formats of MP3 and WMA. The various software supported by this player are Microsoft windows 98, 2000, XP, vista and Linux2.4, MAC OS 9.x and higher.
